One way to improve is by training. One way to train is by studying "old" trading days. The more you study "old" days the more prepared you will be to face each new day.

My entry for each day covers two pages. On page 1, I include a concise summary of the day's action, plus two timelines (one timeline in a text format and a second timeline in a color bar format) showing how the NASDAQ 100, S&P 500, bonds, Euro FX, gold and crude oil traded across the day's five major time periods. I also include a lessons section that highlights which of my 10 trading lessons were most relevant to the day's trade.

On page 2, I include an 11-day linear regression chart for the NASDAQ 100, S&P 500, bonds, Euro FX, gold and crude oil.
